Resolution calls for early legal advice to soften blow of divorce

New poll reveals 41% of those divorced within the last 5 years have suffered multiple episodes of poor mental health, compared to 29% among those who got divorced more than 5 years ago.

  • Poll also shows ‘DIY divorces’ on the rise.

    Majority of divorcees surveyed want to see early professional advice for separating couples (63%).

    A national family justice body has today urged the government to improve access to early legal advice for divorcing couples, as a new poll reveals the shocking impact of divorce.
