No Fault Divorce Bill on its way

Bill will be introduced in the next session of Parliament

  • The Justice Secretary, David Gauke MP, has confirmed that the Government will introduce a no fault divorce Bill in the next session of Parliament, according  to reports in The Guardian and The Times today.

This follows a consultation launched Autumn 2018 which according to Gauke was

"overwhelmingly in support which is why I remain as convinced as I have been for the need to reform this particular area".

You can read The Guardian's full report here. We will report more when further detail becomes available.
